About Us

Dr. Detail of KC is a locally owned business started by a husband and wife team who share a deep passion for cars. Matthew Cranford, also known as Dr. Detail, discovered his love of automobiles early on when his father brought home a C3 Corvette, followed later by a C4 and other Corvettes. He went on to work as an ASE-certified Master Mechanic for more than seven years before deciding to build a business of his own. During that time he built engines and finely tuned cars for both speed and precision. Today he channels that same careful attention and technical expertise into professional detailing work.
